What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractors are Primary Care doctors who specialize in spinal health and full-body wellness. Your chiropractor is trained to diagnose and rule out more serious illness and help patients achieve a higher quality of life.
By focusing on prevention and conservative treatments, chiropractors can reduce dependency on drugs, relieve pain, increase mobility, enhance performance and more.
Unlike conventional practitioners, chiropractors have extensive training in nutrition, biomechanics, exercise science and in the prevention of health decline.
When you go to a chiropractor, you are in the hands of a highly skilled and educated health professional.

Why Well Body Chiropractic?
At Well Body Chiropractic & Functional Medicine, we believe people of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care. One of the best ways to ensure a healthy child is to have regular chiropractic adjustments. Likewise, one of the best things for an aging spine is gentle, chiropractic care to help maintain joint mobility, decrease inflammation and create an environment of healing for the body.
Dr. Noonan and Dr. Bennett each have years of experience employing traditional as well as low and non-force chiropractic techniques. Please call if you have specific questions and we will devise a program of care that fits your specific needs and desires. There is no one-plan-fits-all with Well Body Chiropractic. Our treatments are as unique as our patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect on my first visit?
Your first appointment is about gathering information about your past medical history and your current complaints or health goats. During this 40 min. visit we will sit down and talk about you as well as do a full spinal exam to decide if chiropractic is the right fit for you. We may order xrays, but that depends on the findings of your exam. If it is appropriate, you may receive your first adjustment on this visit as well.
What will I experience after an adjustment?
Many people report feeling very loose and 'light' after their adjustment. Some say they can breathe with much greater ease and some feel soreness similar to that experienced after a workout. This is as variable as each human body is variable. You will be given specific instructions on what to do after your first adjustment
How often will I need to be adjusted at first?
People in acute pain and with complex spinal conditions may be seen multiple times per week, while those with minor issues or those seeking wellness care will be seen weekly to begin with. Each person will have a plan unique and specific to their individual needs and frequency will wind down as the healing process progresses.
Will I have things to do at home?
Absolutely! There are 2 people responsible for your healing and one of them is you. You will be given instructions on home care including stretches, exercises, limitations to activity and more. Dr. Noonan and Bennett are not cookie-cutter practitioners. Your home care will be individualized for your condition, your spine and your lifestyle. The fact is that the people who heal most successfully are the ones who do their 'homework'.
