Let’s Get Acquainted

    About Us…

We are so pleased to meet you!

Hi There. I am Dr. Jennifer Noonan and I’m so happy you stopped in to see what Well Body Chiropractic is all about. Since you clicked on the “About” page, I assume you’d like to know a little bit more about me.

After having practiced in the Albany, New York area for over 20 years, I am considered a veteran chiropractor now.  That means I have analyzed and treated thousands of cases and performed tens of thousands of chiropractic adjustments on patients who range in age from only a few days old to over 90 years old. There isn’t much I haven’t seen. I utilize many techniques to personalize my care including many low and non-force techniques.

About Dr. Jennifer Noonan, Well Body Chiropractic, Denver, NC Chiropractor

I am a perpetual student of wellness and thrive on helping people discover and create a wellness way of life for themselves and their families.

I LOVE chiropractic, nutrition, aromatherapy and ALL things wellness, for that matter. I also love imparting that knowledge into others to change their lives for the better. It’s not just my job, it’s who I am. I love connecting with my patients on a real level to affect true and lasting changes in their lives. I am a perpetual student of wellness and thrive on helping people discover and create a wellness way of life for themselves and their families.

I relate on a personal level with many of my patients as I am no stranger to pain, struggle and recovery. Due to injuries associated with being a chiropractor and then a motor vehicle accident, there came a point where I had to walk away from my practice for several years to get better. So I get pain. I get the frustration, anger and the toll it can take on your life. That challenge, though, is part of what makes me the practitioner I am.

Dr. David Noonan, Certified Health Coach, Functional Nutrition

Meet Dr. David Noonan

As my wife mentioned above, I am also a Chiropractic Physician, Certified Health Coach and Certified Functional Nutritionist. I maintained a private practice for over 25 years where I had the privilege of helping to change thousands of lives for the better. Not just by getting people out of pain, but by leading and educating them on how to live healthier, more vibrant lives with natural, drug-free methods. Most recently, I have had the opportunity of studying for my functional nutrition certification under the guidance of some of the most influential pioneers in the field including Mark Hyman M.D, Dr. Frank Lipman and Dr. Vincent Pedre.

Functional nutrition is a patient-centered practice which looks at the root causes of disease and treats the body as it was designed- as one integrated system, not as many unrelated systems. Functional nutritionists see symptoms as clues to helping understand the underlying cause and whether they are related to illness, medications, poor diet, lifestyle factors, anti-biotic use etc.

I strongly believe that traditional methods of care are missing the boat on preventing and treating chronic illness and that sedentary lifestyles, the SAD (standard American diet) nutrition of processed and refined “foods” and reliance on medication is making us and keeping us sick.

It is important to understand that functional health coach’s don’t diagnose or treat disease, we help clients to transform lifestyle through diet, exercise, stress management, sleep and supplementation that will help give their body what it needs to heal. While standard practitioners formulate a plan to suppress symptoms of one system or another, a functional nutritionist will focus on building health by restoring proper physiological functioning of the body and addressing the root cause. Functional nutritionists understand the profound effect food and nutrition have on creating health or creating disease and will educate and coach the patient back to wellness and keep them on a path of prevention.

I love passing what I know and love onto others and I am looking forward to reaching out to the community to educate as many as possible through live classes and webinars. I strongly believe that traditional methods of care are missing the boat on preventing and treating chronic illness’ and that sedentary lifestyles, the SAD (standard American diet) nutrition of processed and refined “foods” and reliance on medication is making us and keeping us sick.

Some health challenges I look forward to helping people with include reducing risk factors and managing Type I and Type II diabetes, reducing cardiovascular risk, weight loss, intestinal and digestive disorders, the aging male, childhood and adolescent nutrition and much more.

I truly love and live what I do and I hope that shows in how I care for and strive to treat each and every patient like family.
